È morto suicida 'Zombie Boy'. E Lady Gaga piange Rick Genest: "Salviamoci a vicenda dalla depressione"

Il modello e artista, con il 90% del corpo tatuato, si è tolto la vita a 32 anni. Era comparso nel video di 'Born this way' della popstar

MONTREAL - Lady Gaga è devastata, non riesce a darsi pace. Il suo grande amico Rick Genest, artista e modello, più noto come Zombie Boy, si è tolto la vita. Aveva 32 anni e il 90% del corpo tatuato.

Soffriva di depressione e su questo la cantante ha lanciato un allarme. "Il suicidio del amico Rick Gener, Zombie Boy, è devastante. Dobbiamo lavorare di più per cambiare la cultura, portare la salute mentale in prima linea e cancellare lo stigma che non possiamo parlarne. Se soffrite, chiamate un amico o la vostra famiglia. Dobbiamo salvarci a vicenda".

I due hanno iniziato a collaborare grazie a Nicola Formichetti, stilista personale della pop star e direttore creativo della maison Thierry Mugler. Formichetti ha scoperto Rick grazie a una foto comparsa su un magazine e gli ha aperto le porte del mondo della moda, consentendogli di iniziare una carriera da modello.

Molta della sua notorietà la doveva alla partecipazione nel video di 'Born this way', tra i più grandi successi della popstar.
