Francesco Gabbani - Viceversa (Official Video) - Sanremo 2020

"Ho deciso di intitolare l'album 'Viceversa' perché, a fine lavoro, mi sono accorto che c'era una sorta di filo conduttore all’interno del mio disco che è ben rappresentato dal messaggio del brano che ho portato sul palco dell’Ariston. Ossia il tentativo di capire chi sono in un confronto tra la dimensione intima e la collettività in un inevitabile equilibrio a cui aspiro".
Francesco Gabbani, commenta così, all'indomani del grande risultato sul palco di Sanremo, dove si è piazzato secondo ottenendo però il primo piazzamento nel gradimento del pubblico (con il 38% di preferenze), l'uscita del suo album 'Viceversa'.

L'amore è cieco o siamo noi di sbieco?
Un battibecco nato su un letto
Un diluvio universale
Un giudizio sotto il tetto
Up con un po' di down
Silenzio rotto per un grande sound
Semplici eppure complessi
Libri aperti in equilibrio tra segreti e compromessi
Facili occasioni per difficili concetti

Anime purissime in sporchissimi difetti
Fragili combinazioni tra ragione ed emozioni
Solitudini e condivisioni

Ma se dovessimo spiegare
In pochissime parole
Il complesso meccanismo che governa l'armonia del nostro amore
Basterebbe solamente dire
Senza starci troppo a ragionare
Che sei tu che mi fai stare bene quando io sto male e viceversa
Che sei tu che mi fai stare bene quando io sto male e viceversa

E detto questo che cosa ci resta
Dopo una vita al centro della festa?
Protagonisti e numeri uno
Invidiabili da tutti e indispensabili a nessuno
Madre che dice del padre:
“Avrei voluto solo realizzare
Il mio ideale, una vita normale”
Ma l'amore di normale non ha neanche le parole Parlano di pace e fanno la rivoluzione
Dittatori in testa e partigiani dentro al cuore
Non c'è soluzione che non sia l'accettazione
Di lasciarsi abbandonati all'emozione

"I decided to title the album 'Viceversa' because, at the end of the work, I realized that there was a sort of common thread within my album which is well represented by the message of the song that I brought to the stage of the Ariston: that is, the attempt to understand who I am in a comparison between the intimate dimension and the community in an inevitable balance to which I aspire ".

Francesco Gabbani, he comments thus, in the aftermath of the great result on the Sanremo stage, where he finished second, however obtaining the first placement in the audience's satisfaction (with 38% of preferences), the release of his album 'Viceversa'.

“I just wanted to accomplish

My ideal, a normal life "

But normal love doesn't even have words

They speak of peace and make the revolution

Dictators in the head and partisans in the heart

There is no solution other than acceptance

To let yourself be abandoned to emotion
